A first place victory for Riichi Nomi NYC! There were a lot of really tough games here. Coming into the last round, we were holding 2nd palace by a seven point margin. Somehow, everyone on our team locked in an got a first, cementing our place in the semifinals.
The next round is going to be very tough, to be honest. DC Mahjong has Riichi Nomi Regular Sophie on their team, who is quite strong. The NPM team will also be quite tough I think. They managed to go from 4th to 2nd in their last round during the quarterfinals. Any team that can do that is probably good under pressure.
